Our Story

Kolosok SuperMarket opened its doors in Hallandale Beach with a simple mission: to bring the authentic flavors of Eastern Europe to South Florida. For those of us who grew up with the smell of fresh rye bread, the taste of real kefir, and shelves stacked with familiar sweets, moving abroad often meant leaving those flavors behind. We wanted to change that.

Our name says it all — “kolosok” means a little ear of wheat, a symbol of harvest, home, and the food traditions we grew up with. Today our shelves carry hundreds of products from trusted Eastern European brands: dairy and smoked meats, pickles and preserves, buckwheat and sunflower seeds, chocolates and teas — alongside everyday groceries, household goods, and pet supplies.
